Profiles - Darren Maddison

Darren trained at Birmingham University.

Theatre Credits include; WEST SIDE STORY, DREAMNIGHTS, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, OUR DAY OUT, THE JUNGLE BOOK, and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. National Tours include; WHEELS ON THE BUS, POLKA DOT SHORTS, THE NERD starring Joe Pasquale, and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW starring Jason Donovan, Darren Day and Jonathon Wilkes.

In Stockholm he has appeared in DEAD GUILTY and A CHRISTMAS CAROL, was lead male vocalist on the Britannia Princess’s tenth anniversary cruise, has toured Europe in a  Viennese Opera, and appeared for a season at Legoland in a rock n’ roll show. He has also choreographed PLAYDAYS and WHEELS ON THE BUS for CBBC.

For Bruce James Productions he has appeared in A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT, CAROUSEL, THE WIZARD OF OZ, and most recently GODSPELL.

Darren has appeared in panto at the Thameside Theatre in Grays in BABES IN THE WOOD, JACK AND THE BEANSTALK, SNOW WHITE, ALADDIN, MOTHER GOOSE and DICK WHITTINGTON.

He is also a project co-ordinator for Polka Dot Arts; A company that specialises in teaching children performing arts skills.
