Profiles - Thomas Lappin
Thomas graduated from the University of Surrey with a B.A
(Hons) Degree in Drama. Since then he has worked extensively
in Theatre Television Film and Radio.
Theatre work includes THE CRUCIBLE (Lyric
Belfast), THE MERCHANT OF VENICE (Lyric
Belfast), LANGUAGE ROULETTE ( Tinderbox
Theatre Company/ Bush Theatre London/ Traverse Theatre Edinburgh), SHALOM BELFAST (Replay
Productions), THE WATER BABIES (Big Telly Theatre
Company), JAMES
YOUNG AND THE 1001 NIGHTS OF LAUGHTER (Belfast Theatre
Company), ONCE
UPON A TIME (Ulster Theatre Company), Cinderella
(Class Acts Productions). Thomas also spent a year touring
the UK with the smash hit West End production of STONES IN HIS POCKETS.
Television work includes CORONATION STREET, EUREKA STREET, MYSTERY, CRIMEWATCH
UK, and numerous reconstructions for NEWSNIGHT, SPOTLIGHT and DISPATCHES.
He was also featured in the television commercial for hugely
successful internet auction site EBAY.
Films include SHERGAR (feature), CROSSMAHEART
/ CYCLE OF VIOLENCE (Feature), THE
RUN OF THE COUNTRY (Feature), LLADIA (Short,
B.A.F.T.A Special prize winner), SNAP (Short,

This is Thomas’ first visit to the Thameside Theatre and he is looking
