Damian has appeared in repertory seasons in Yeovil, Chesterfield,
Leeds, Worthing, Sutton, Bognor Regis and Weston-Super-Mare
playing such parts as 'Bernard’ in DON’T

Thornton’ in TIME AND THE CONWAYS; ‘Michael’ in DANCING AT LUGHNASA; ‘Walter
Bryce' in NATURAL CAUSES; 'Charles Stanton'
in DANGEROUS CORNER; 'Ritchie Burrows'
in HAVING A BALL; 'Charles Brinton' In DOUBLE CUT;
'Mr Bromhead' in NO SEX PLEASE, WE'RE BRITISH;
'Al’ in the John Godber comedy APRIL IN PARIS and
as ‘Frank' in EDUCATING RITA.
Damian toured extensively as 'Bob' in the Jimmie Chinn
comedy STRAIGHT & NARROW;
as 'Dennis' in ONE FOR THE ROAD;
'George Willoughby' in the horror thriller I'LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT;
'Eric' in THE OPPOSITE SEX; ‘Nick’ in DEAD FUNNY;
as ‘Inspector Slack’ in the Agatha Christie classic MURDER AT THE VICARAGE, ‘George’ in WIFE BEGINS AT FORTY;
as ‘Bruce Delamitri’ in Ben Elton’s POPCORN and
in the Farce TWO AND TWO MAKE SEX alongside
Andrew Lynford [‘Simon Raymond’ from Eastenders].
Damian became well known to television audiences in the
early nineties for his appearances as 'Ginger Gahagan' in
the BBC series BILLY WEBB and
the second series ALFONZO BONZO. His other
television appearances include 'Lumpy in SPATZ;
'Gavin' In EXAM CONDITIONS and
'lan' in THE BILL.
Damian is always in demand for Musical Theatre. He has
appeared as 'Mr Squeezum’ In LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS;
'Mr. Fezziwig’ in SCROOGE; ‘Max Detwei!ler'
in THE SOUND OF MUSIC;
'Daddy Warbucks' In ANNIE; 'Buddy Fiddler' in CITY OF ANGELS;
'Alfred P. Doolittle' in MY FAIR LADY,
'Sir John Tremayne' In ME AND MY GIRL,
'John the Baptist’ in GODSPELL and
had enormous success as ‘the Voice' of 'Audrey II'
in the hit musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.
Damian’s first love is comedy (his heroes are Laurel & Hardy)
and he has performed various comedy roles in musicals from ‘Luther
Billis’ in SOUTH PACIFIC to ‘Pseudolus’ in A
FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM and
lead roles in LUCKY SODS, RUN FOR YOUR WIFE and BEDSIDE MANNERS.
This will be Damian’s eleventh year as Dame at the
Thameside Theatre in Grays having played ‘Tilly Trott’ in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK; ‘Widow
Twankey’ in ALADDIN; 'Sarah the Cook’ in DICK WHITTINGTON; ‘Nurse
Glucose’ in BABES IN THE WOOD; ‘Dolly
Jollybottom’ in SNOW
WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS and the title
role in MOTHER GOOSE.
Damian was born in Tilbury in Essex, where he still lives
with his partner Barbie and they are proud parents of twins,
Joshua and Esme, undoubtedly one of Damian’s
finest productions to date!
