Julie trained at the Barbara Speake Stage School in London.

She has worked extensively in musical theatre, having played such roles as ‘Magenta’ in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, ‘Suzannah’ in HAIR, ‘Gilmer’ in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, ‘Sue’ in A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT, ‘Sonia’ in GODSPELL, ‘Maureen/Sandy’ in ROCK HARD, ‘Joanne’ in ELEGIES FOR ANGELS, PUNKS AND RAGING QUEENS, ‘Trisha’ in DIVA FEVER, ‘Rosie Greenwich / Martie’ in LEADER OF THE PACK and ‘Narrator’ in WEST END SHOWSTOPPERS.

Other theatre credits include ‘Suzanne’ in DON’T DRESS FOR DINNER, ‘Tracey’ in page 3 Murder and Miranda in THE COLLECTOR, ‘Birgitta’ in AN EVENING WITH GARY LINEKER, ‘Simone’ in A BEDFULL OF FOREIGNERS, ‘Selina’ in TART AND THE VICAR’S WIFE and ‘Helen’ in BEDSIDE MANNERS.

Julie was a founder member of the all-girl group The Corsettes who toured in 1999 with Alvin Stardust.

Pantos include four ALADDINS, three CINDERELLAS, one PUSS IN BOOTS and SNOW WHITE all over the country!

Julie played the role of ‘La Carlotta’ in a UK Tour of Ken Hill’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
