Profiles - Elizabeth Williams
Elizabeth trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
and has been seen in many productions throughout the country.
She has been leading lady for many seasons including Buxton
Opera House; Norwich Playhouse where she played ‘Mrs. Reece’ in FARNDALE MURDER;
she was the ‘Duchess of Berwick’ in LADY WINDERMERE’S FAN at
Sheringham; ‘Madame Dubonnet’ in THE BOYFRIEND and ‘Clara
Soppit’ in WHEN WE ARE MARRIED at the same
theatre. Other seasons have been at the Pomegranate Theatre,
Chesterfield; Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield and the
St. George’s Theatre, Great Yarmouth.
Her television work includes ALL THE KING’S MEN, GET
WELL SOON, SILENT WITNESS and MARTIN
CHUZZLEWIT.
Her concerts are numerous and she was ‘Mrs. Peachum’ in THE BEGGAR’S OPERA at
Blickling Hall for the National Trust. She was at the National
Theatre in AN INSPECTOR CALLS which
was an outstanding success.
