Katie trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where she graduated with a 1st class degree in 2004.

Roles at LIPA included: ‘Woman 1’ in CLOSER THAN EVER, ‘Margaret’ in THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO, ‘Lisa’ in OWNERS, ‘Frauline Kost’ in CABARET and ‘Ezulie’ in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND.

Musical Director/Composer credits include: THE LION IN WINTER, AS YOU LIKE IT and TIS PITY SHE’S A WHORE.

Theatre credits include: ‘Witch/Step-mother’ in HANSEL AND GRETEL (Image Musical Theatre), ‘Jill’ in RAVING BEAUTIES (number one national tour), ‘Colin Goose’ (Principal Boy) in MOTHER GOOSE at the Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield, ‘Stella Drury’ in HOUSE GUEST, all three female roles in the two hander comedy ONE MAN PROTEST and most recentlyOlwen Peel’ in J.B Priestley’s thriller DANGEROUS CORNER.

Film credits included: ‘Girl’ (female lead) in INK CONTROL (Moving Image Productions), and ‘Francie Daniels’ in SECOND VICTIM (Philip J Allen Productions).

Katie is delighted as this year the Film INK CONTROL was selected to be part of the International Film Festivals in Tel Aviv, Greece, Barcelona and was nominated for Best New coming Film in the Hull International Short Film Festival U.K 2006. elevision appearances include: BLUE PETER, BIG BREAKFAST and GLORIA HUNNIFORD SHOW LIVE.

Recordings: Soloist on Warner Classic Album CANTAMUS AURORA.

Katie is very proud to have spent 10 years (1991 – 2001) as a member of the Cantamus Girls Choir, within which she travelled extensively with the choir.  

In between performing Katie works as a Freelance Artist/Teacher for Flying High Expressive Arts based in Nottingham.

Katie is delighted to be returning to the Pomegranate Theatre this year and as always hopes you enjoy the show!
