Proifles - Aaron Bixley

Aaron is delighted to be back in Chesterfield for Xmas [last time he was here he found out he was going to be a father!!]. He has just finished a tour of FUNNY MONEY for Ian Dickens and prior to that he took on the mantle of costume, set, lighting designer, oh and he also played ‘Tartuffe’ in TARTUFFE. Aaron also fulfilled his ambition to play a pirate this year as ‘Black Dog’ in TREASURE ISLAND for Bruce James Productions.

Aaron attended & won a scholarship at Guilford School of Acting, he then went on to train in Stage Combat at The Birmingham School of Speech & Drama.

Theatre credits include playing ‘PC Pong’ in ALADDIN at Chesterfield Pomegranate, ‘Claudius’ in ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD at Jersey Opera House with Joe Pasquale.  His other favourite theatre roles include: ‘Ludovico’ in OTHELLO at Nottingham Playhouse, ‘Mr Sparkish’ in THE COUNTRY WIFE & ‘Tartuffe’ in TARTUFFE with Onatti Theatre Company. 

Other superb roles that he would love to play again include: ‘Mozart’ in AMADEUS, ‘Mercutio’ in ROMEO & JULIET, ‘Claudius’ in HAMLET, ‘Pertruchio’ in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW all with Open Hand Productions & ‘Billy Fisher’ in BILLY LIAR at The Wolverhampton Grand.

Interesting voice-over work includes: HULK HOGAN ON STEROIDS for Thrash Metal Band ‘Decide’, Cricket Commentary for County Sound Radio, a Sean Connery radio advert & a CD Rom game SCORCHED PLANET.
