Sarah trained as an actress at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre
School and on the singers’ performance course at the ENO.
Theatre work includes ‘Beryl’ in TONIGHT AT 8.30 (Bristol Old Vic), the leading role of ‘Mollie’ in THE MOUSETRAP (West End), ‘Mary’ in FIVE KINDS OF SILENCE (Jermyn Street Theatre), ‘Venus’ in THE CANTERBURY TALES (West End), ‘Portia’ in JULIUS CAESAR (Troubadour Club), national tours of BRIDESHEAD REVISITED, MACBETH, GODSPELL, SNAP Theatre
Co's THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY, MY FAIR LADY (Perth
Rep) and she was one of the first to perform at Shakespeare's
Globe in HENRY VI and MACBETH. Sarah has
played many leading roles in plays and musicals in repertory
seasons around the country, favourites include ‘Elvira’ in BLITHE SPIRIT, ‘Lady Teazle’ in THE SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL, ‘Myra’ in HAY FEVER, ‘Polly’ in THE BOYFRIEND, ‘Cecily’ in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and ‘Annelle’ in STEEL MAGNOLIAS. TV includes
the 'interviewer from hell' in HOW TO GET YOUR DREAM JOB for BBC3, THE WEB, presenter
for the ALGEBRA WORKOUT series BBC O.U. EASTENDERS and LADIES for C4.
Feature films include a featured role in Kenneth Branagh's
new film version of the opera THE MAGIC FLUTE, leading
roles in the 50's style, sci-fi HORACE K48 and the
psychological thriller THE SHADOW, VERA DRAKE and CLOSER
