James trained at The Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Theatre credits include ‘Moses’ in the critically acclaimed ‘MONSIEUR IBRAHIM AND THE FLOWERS OF THEQUR’AN at the Edinburgh Festival and UK Tour, ‘Sam’ in ‘THE LORD OF  THE FLIES for Pilot Theatre Company, ‘Young Katurian’ in the award winning THE PILLOWMAN at the National and on tour, ‘Veejay’ in MIND THE GAP for Y Touring, ‘PeterRabbit’ in PETER RABBIT for Unicorn Theatre, ‘Oscar Wilde’ in A CHARMED LIFE for Pleasure for Pleasure Theatre Company, ‘Oliver’ in OLIVER! (London Palladium), ‘Gavroche’ in LES MISERABLES (Palace Theatre) and ‘Philip’ in THE FLY (Garrick Theatre), and ‘Christopher Robin’ in WINNIE THE POOH for Tyne Theatre and Opera House.

His television credits include ‘Byron’ (BBC), ‘Alexi’ in SPACE ISLAND ONE (Espace Productions), ‘Kevin’ in FOCUS (BBC), MR. BEAN (Thames).’ He has also done some presenting on CURRICULUM BITES/HISTORY for BBC/Lodestar.

For film, James has appeared in the roles of ‘Kev’s Mate’ in BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM, ‘Maggott’ in VIRTUAL SEXUALITY and as the ‘Young Jude’ in the film adaptation JUDE (Obscure Films).
