ROBIN HOOD Goes Back to Sherwood Forest

Our Half-Term production of THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD was a big success at the Playhouse Theatre in Weston-Super-Mare this week with some great audiences and a super company. The production saw ELLIS KERHOVEN playing 'Robin Hood'; CATRIANA SANDISON as 'Maid Marion'; MARK SINEY as the villainous 'Sheriff of Nottingham' with his henchman, 'Plunkett' played by THOMAS COOMBES. The Merry Men included JAMES CAMPBELL as 'Will Scarlet'; MORGAN ROBERTS as 'Little John' and PETER JAMIESON as the always hungry 'Friar Tuck'. The cast was completed by LORINDA KING who not only played 'Megan the Mystic' but also choreographed. The excellent script was written by DEBRA JAMES with some lovely original songs penned by ANDY COLLYER, who was also the Musical Director. KEITH RADLEY was Company Stage Manager. We will be revisiting Sherwood Forest this coming Xmas when we will be presenting the Pantomime ROBIN HOOD & THE BABES IN THE WOOD at the Thameside Theatre in Grays.
