The Wardrobe Finally Closes in Southend

Our magical Christmas production of C.S. Lewis's classic story THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE adapted by Adrian Mitchell with music by Shaun Davey finished its hugely successful run at the Palace Theatre in Southend on Sunday night. Hailed as one of the best Christmas productions seen at the venue for many years we would like to thank everyone who was involved in the production for all their hard work over the five weeks of the rehearsals and the performances. The 'excellent cast' as described by Whatsonstage.com provided a 'theatrical gem' as reviewed by John Giles at the Southend Arts Council and a 'magical piece of the theatre' as written by the reviewer from the Essex Enquirer.
