HI-DE-HI!, by Jimmy Perry & David Croft, is one of the best remembered and much-loved TV sitcoms of all time which starred a whole host of much-loved characters during its nine series on the BBC in the 1980s. The stage version, now updated and adapted by Paul Carpenter and Ian Gower, has not been seen since it was last in the West End in 1984.
Our brand new and hilarious production stars BARRY HOWARD & NIKKI KELLY, who were in the original 1980s TV sitcom, and this time will play ‘Barry & Yvonne Stuart-Hargreaves’ PETER AMORY, who played 'Chris Tate' in ITV's hit soap EMMERDALE for fourteen years as 'Jeffrey Fairbrother', the ever-popular and very funny DAMIAN WILLIAMS, who is the presenter on Sky One’s ARE YOU SMARTER THAN YOUR TEN-YEAR OLD?, as ‘Ted Bovis’ and ABIGAIL [ABI] FINLEY from BBC's HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE MARIA? as 'Peggy Ollerenshaw'.
